week 18 wrap up

Happy Saturday! My week 18 wrap up is coming at you a little later than usual because of Books and Breakfast, where @thatawkwardteacher@teachingsaveslives@missboverseas, and @teachingintheflx did chatty book talks on IG live! I didn't have breakfast, but I did open the window, paint my nails and get some excellent book recs. I literally take notes to remember who recommended what and which books I NEED. I loved having something to look forward to this week! Other highlights of the week: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-I finished a couple of eARCs - comics are my go-to for when I'm struggling to focus - and I'm looking forward to talking about those closer to their pub dates.
-We supported our seniors from a distance this week as they picked up their grad regalia, and it was SO nice to see staff and students again (even with masks on).
-I read Beneath the Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire, the third book in the Wayward Children series, and while I can't wait to read the next one, a part of me wonders if I shouldn't start spacing them out so I don't finish them all at once!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This week was up and down - I'm not gonna lie, but it was more up than down, and that's all I'm working toward right now. What about you - what were the highlights of your week this week?
