Beneath the Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire

Beneath the Sugar Sky is the third book in the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire, and I cannot get enough! I love that while each book has the same backdrop, they explore different characters and different worlds. I love the nods to characters from other books in the series, too! Who builds entire fantasy worlds and tells compelling stories and asks thoughtful questions in less than 200 pages? Seanan McGuire does. AND I LOVE HER FOR IT. There is something so, so special about this series, y'all, and I cannot wait to keep reading it.
