Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren

My book twin, @brandiballreads, raved about Love and Other Words, and I immediately put it on hold at my library. And waited. And waited. And then I saw it while placing my latest Book Outlet order and knew the wait was over! Brandi and I have such similar taste that I knew I would love it - I just didn't know how much. This love story alternates between the past and the present as Macy unexpectedly runs into (and then recalls) her first love. I wasn't sure how I would feel about jumping back and forth in time, but the pacing was on point. I love stories about books and readers and found family and this one was no exception.
