February Reads!

As you can probably tell by this photo, my 2020 goal to read what I own is going super well 🤣 I received some very anticipated ALCs and library holds and my TBR went out the window. Nevertheless, it was a solid reading month!

*You're Not Listening: What You're Missing and Why It Matters by Kate Murphy | non-fiction | explores why we're in a listening recession

The Witches Are Coming by Lindy West | nonfiction |personal essays about contemporary politics, the #MeToo movement, and more

*A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson | YA, fiction | a Veronica Mars-ish crime thriller

When My Brother Was an Aztec by Natalie Diaz | poetry | an indigenous LGBTQ+ person explores herself, her family, and her community through poetry

*Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi | YA, non-fiction | explores the history of racism in America in easily accessible terms

Evidence of the Affair by Taylor Jenkins Reid | short story | a woman discovers evidence of her husband's affair and must decide her next move

*I received these books as advance listening copies through @librofm. Getting a book for free does not influence my review.

Each of these books is reviewed on my feed (along with TWs, if applicable) with the exception of Evidence of the Affair, which will be up next week. Let me know what you've been reading this month!
