Legend by Marie Lu
It's #ThrowbookThursday time! Legend by Marie Lu is book one of a trilogy that I absolutely loved. Here are my original, spoiler free thoughts about all three!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Legend:
This is one of those dystopian YA novels that I knew I would enjoy, that countless people recommended, and that I wanted to get to...after I gave myself a bit of a dystopian YA book break. It's been a while since I started an audiobook that I felt compelled to continue listening to (even after I arrived at the place I was traveling to). This definitely had that appeal for me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Prodigy:
Immediately after finishing Legend, I checked out Prodigy so I could continue the trilogy. I wolfed down the entire book in one day.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Champion:
Are we sensing a theme? Shortly after finishing Prodigy, I checked out the audiobook of Champion, the only version immediately available at my library. I'm currently working on this one, although I've been warned that my life will no longer be the same once I finish it.

updated to add: past me was right.
