The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary
Today's book review is brought to you by #bookstagram. I l love a good contemporary romance, and the hype about The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary was impossible to avoid this summer. In a delightfully rom-com-eque premise, 9-to-5'er Tiffy and night nurse Leon are strangers who end up sharing the same one room flat. Seeing their lives brush up against each other and eventually - inevitably - collide was an absolute pleasure. I loved their interactions, especially through the notes they left each other. The development of their relationship and the ensuing obstacles felt like a natural progression and true to life, and I found myself wishing this had it's own movie adaptation. This is one that lives up to the hype for me!
