Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell

Finally, a #NonfictionNovember post! As a lover of Malcolm Gladwell's Revisionist History podcast, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Talking to Strangers. It seemed like a natural progression of the podcast - exploring events through an unconventional lens. Discussing figures from Sylvia Plath to Neville Chamberlain to Bernie Madoff to Amanda Knox to Jerry Sandusky, Gladwell explores the way our inability to understand others affects our own behavior - and it's absolutely fascinating. The audiobook is a MUST. Narrated by the author, it includes music, police recordings, interviews, and audiobook excerpts so you can hear actual voices rather than narration whenever possible. If you're looking for a good read for Nonfiction November, I strongly recommend this one.
