Lauren Graham books

I#ThrowbookThursday complete without a little nostalgia?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don't ask me to choose my favorite show of all time (but if I had to, it's Gilmore Girls). There's an element of nostalgia for sure - I watched it when it aired after school, back when reruns were a thing - but I continue to have what my mom affectionately refers to as my annual viewing well into adulthood. That being said, I'm a huge fan of Lauren Graham and have read both of her books. There's Someday, Someday, Maybe, a semi-autobiographical novel about a struggling actress (there's apparently a sequel of sorts in the works!), but today we're going to chat about Talking As Fast as I Can, a memoir with special attention given to The Gilmore Years. Here's my very brief original review:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Where Lauren Graham leads, I will follow. While her first book Someday, Someday, Maybe was a novel, this one is a memoir. She talks about Gilmore Girls and it’s revival, but she also shares stories from her childhood as well as from her life outside the show. I don’t know that you would gravitate to it if you’re not already a fan of hers, but I loved it. I recommend the audiobook, which is narrated by her, to get the full effect.
