A Wintry Week 8 Wrap Up

Well, we finally got that winter weather we've been waiting for in NC...and it lasted all of 12 hours 😂
I've been trying give myself some grace this weekend: I'm feeling a little slumpy - I've got several great books going (The Starless Sea, pictured, being one of them) - but I haven't been reaching for them. Instead, I've been catching up on sleep and FINALLY finished Downton Abbey. I stopped watching around season 5, but decided to rewatch and finish it once and for all after seeing the movie when it came out! I'm sad it's over, but very glad I decided to give it another chance. Sometimes the best way to fight a book slump is just to give it space and return when you're ready! Here's hoping a long weekend is just what my brain needed. ❄️
