Library Love
Libraries are sacred spaces. My mom fostered a deep love of reading in me from a young age, and storytimes and trips to the library were frequent. I carried stacks of books as tall as I was out of those sliding doors, and continued my membership at that branch even as I moved further and further away from it. I've joined a new library system, but my first library remains home to me, a place I go back to whenever I can.

That's why I was so heartbroken when @brandiballreads tagged me in a post inspired by @myworldtoread, whose childhood library recently burned (resulting in the deaths of two amazing firefighters). To give back to her community, Dana is donating $2 for every post featuring a library card and using the hashtag #portervillelibrarylove (until March 17th).
