week 15 wrap up
📚
I've been mourning this week a little bit. This was my spring break, a time I was eagerly anticipating so I could do things and take a solo trip and eat amazing food and shop all the bookstores. I was supposed to visit a friend who is moving away soon. Instead, I stayed home. Here are some things that helped with that:
📚
• Rewatching Schitts Creek - don't talk to me about the final season because I haven't seen it yet!
• Codenames, an online card game which my childhood friends and I have become obsessed with playing via Zoom
•My weekly, hours long Zoom meeting with work friends to vent, trash the LFE adaptation, and share what we're reading and watching.
• The page anchor (pictured) which arrived this week and it just there to be pretty and holds your book open and which I'm sure will be featured in many posts to come.
• Placing an order on Book Outlet. Because why not?!
•Cassidy @ladiesgettinglit.erature and Alex @illiterate_cats's IG live, where they competed in an episode of Chopped that was everything I didn't know I needed.
📚
This week, I'm still working The Chronicles of Narnia for the #bigbookchallenge 🦁 I finished Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire 😍 and I'm currently listening to Here For It by R. Eric Thomas 🤣
📚
I hope you guys are finding room for both sadness for the things you've lost and gratitude for the things that are helping. I'd love to hear what's been helping you this week!
