This is kinda a #coffeeandcurrentlyreading because I'm currently reading the third book in the series! • I can't believe I didn't pick them up sooner. I have been reading a lot of heavier texts lately, both personally and professionally, and these books have been exactly what I've been yearning for - feel good books with substance. The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory was bound to be a favorite, since it shares a title with one of my favorite rom-coms. After the cutest of all meet cutes, Alexa and Drew agree to attend the upcoming wedding of Drew's ex - and naturally, things get complicated. I loved how funny and flirty this read was, and how it effortlessly tied in social issues. Sometimes authors a tendency to create problems in a relationship where there are none, but their relationship struggles felt real.
