week 23 wrap up | @staxsonstaxs talked this morning about church (see her post if you have no idea what I'm talking about) and the car is definitely mine. It is the place where I think and reflect and where my mom and I always seem to talk. Today we went for coffee. We drove through downtown, where almost all the businesses are still boarded up following the protests in my city. Beautiful artwork covers every inch - I wish I had taken more photos! We talked about systemic racism and anger and indifference and fear and hope. It made me grateful to have a mama like her. Other things I'm grateful for this week: seeing my IRL and booksta friends get their happy mail from me! Also the PD I helped lead that led to conversations with so many incredible teachers who inspire me to be better.
