I recently finished an ARC of Martha Waters’ second book, To Love and To Loathe (published 04/06), and put her first, To Have and To Hoax, on hold not long after. It’s a Regency romance series that doesn’t have to be read in order (the books exist in the same world but focus on different characters) and it’s an absolute delight. Violet and James are lovers to enemies to lovers and while I found myself impatient with their over the top antics and miscommunication, it was still fun to watch them banter and scheme and find their way back to one another. While I can’t say that I loved To Have and To Hoax as much as To Love and To Loathe, I’m still a big fan of the series and can’t wait to see what Waters writes next. via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/CNcnbYkrSRB/
