This is my second book by Helena Hunting - I read Meet Cute a lifetime ago - and while I enjoyed Lilah and Ethan’s second chance romance, The Good Luck Charm wasn’t all I hoped it would be. There’s a cute couple with chemistry, but they are at times immature for their age and what they’ve experienced. When I read Meet Cute, I enjoyed the emotional depth, but felt it’s absence here. I’ve been reading a lot of contemporary romance lately, and there are just others that I enjoyed so much more.
