I read the first two Brown Sisters books in the span of 48 hours, and put Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert on hold as soon as my library made it available. I have some serious love for these sisters and couldn’t wait to see what Hibbert had up her sleeve for Eve - and I wasn’t disappointed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Eve and Jacob are the sweetest cinnamon rolls and I just want to squish their little faces together OKAY?! This sunshine/grump romance had delightful banter, Brown family shenanigans, and twice the autism rep! While I wished there had been more B&B-ness, I loved the storyline about overcoming fear of failure, finding true friends, and embracing your quirks (and finding someone who will do the same). I loved Evie’s style - her t-shirt collection and love of music reminded me of me! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m sad my time with the Brown sisters is over, but I can’t wait to explore Hibbert’s backlist and what she comes out with next! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ TW: childhood neglect, anti-autistic ableism via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/CONiTsNL2mR/
