The Rom-Commers by Katherine Center is my first Center novel, and one that came highly recommended — and I’m adding my voice to the choir! Emma (full time caretaker, part time screenwriter, and lifelong rom-com enthusiast) jumps at the chance to help rewrite a garbage rom-com by her idol Charlie (full time screenwriter, part time Hollywood darling, and lifelong cynic). I was swept up from the first few pages and didn’t put it down until I was finished. I loved it! I need The Rom-Commers to be optioned into an actual movie!! I want everyone who disparages romance to read Katherine Center’s note at the end of this novel!!! This book does deal with grief, caretaking, and illness (but in the spirit of a rom-com, keeps it lighthearted). This is *not* similar in tone to Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez, which I also read recently). Still, if you’re concerned, you can check CWs before reading. 📸: I’m reaching out to touch a kindle displaying the ebook cover of The Rom-Commers. via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/DMDIKTyAHLP/
