Thanks to @stmartinspress @youhadmeathea for sharing an early copy of Left of Forever by @authortarahdewitt, out May 20th! When I tell you I did NOT sleep, so engrossed was I in reading this book, that is not an exaggeration. Quick question for Tarah DeWitt: are you kidding me with this story?! The dedication. The playlist. The thousand thread count angsty pining. The epistolary, You’ve Got Mail vibes. The journaling. The HOPE. I was screaming, clutching this book to my heart, and kicking my feet. There is something about characters who are so much a part of each other finding their way back to who they are that feels so special. I said in my review of Savor It that I was hoping for Wren and Elliot’s story from the moment he said “She’s still a Byrd” and I’m so glad it’s here! While this book can certainly be read alone, why wouldn’t you want to spend more time in Spunes, Oregon (not to be confused with Forks, Washington)?!
