I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman is my first translated read of the year and a reminder that I need to seek out more translated lit! This dystopian, allegory of the cave-esque story is a short but powerful exploration of humanity, the importance of story, and what makes a life. I think the less you know about this story going into it, the better. 📸: I’m holding up a kindle displaying the ebook cover of I Who Have Never Known Men in front of a window with white blinds and white curtains. via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/DJHKLw7AGLZ/
