Wild and Wrangled is the final installment in Lyla Sage’s Rebel Blue Ranch series and it’s the one we’ve been waiting for — Cam and Dusty! I think this was such a great note to end on because their story brings together Gus and Teddy, Ada and Wes, Emmy and Luke, and darling Amos — this story has the whole village Lyla Sage has built, and I really enjoyed it. I will say that I think there were some elements that were underdeveloped— like Cam’s relationship with her parents — which I think got lost due to limitations of space/time. I don’t love when a second chance romance is told in alternating timelines, as this one is, for that reason. However, I did appreciate that Sage took the conflict in a different direction than we would expect from a class-difference dynamic. I stand by my claim/hope that this series gets a screen adaptation because I feel like it would be so much fun! 📸: I’m holding up a paperback of Wild and Wrangled with one hand.
