A Week to Be Wicked (#2 in the Spindle Cove series) is, unsurprisingly, another absolute winner from Tessa Dare. It follows Minerva, who enlists Colin to take her to an important geological conference under the guise of elopement. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love a road trip romance and this one was so much fun, while also being incredibly sweet. Minerva’s loyalty and insightfulness break down Colin’s barriers, and Colin’s people skills and resourcefulness are a perfect match, even when he thinks he’s a disaster. I love that Minerva is the career driven character, which isn’t something we see very often in historicals. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I loved so many moments in this book, but I wanted to clutch the book to my chest in those last few chapters.
