Thanks to @stmartinspress for an advance copy of Hannah Rosenberg’s poetry collection, Same, which comes out on October 21st! I first took a screenshot of her titular poem, Same, about a year ago. You can swipe to read it. It, along with so many of the poems in this collection, speak to the power of female friendship (and really, friendship in all its forms) in a way that resonated with me. Like me, you may be reminded of Kate Baer, whose poetry so movingly speaks of new motherhood, and of Dolly Alderton, whose memoir Everything I Know About Love is a love letter to the friendships that have shaped her life more powerfully than any romantic relationship. Same is an approachable poetry collection and one I can see myself sharing with a lot of different women I know. 📸1: A kindle displaying the ebook cover of Same rests on a white sheet. I’m reaching out to touch the kindle with one hand. 📸2: A screenshot of Hannah Rosenberg’s poem, Same. via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/DP_eECuAbVl/
